Why I like Tivo. (DVR’s)

I like Tivo for many reasons, but the top reason is because I can watch TV more efficiently.  Not only can I cut 25% by blowing through the commercials, but I can stop a show completely if something more important comes up.  It also frees me from having to be available when the networks think I should be watching something.

I’ll admit I probably have too many Tivo’s at this point, and they are all through DirecTV.  The reason I like those is because they are all dual tuner and can easily be hacked.  It’s also very nice that DirecTV only charges $5.99/mo for the household, no matter how many Tivo’s you own.

I currently have 3 subscribed and 1 that I use in my exercise room.  I was able to configure all of them to use the Home Media Option(HMO) so they are all on the network and they can all stream shows between themselves.  I recommend them for everyone!
