PC World says farewell to floppy. Most of you probably did a couple years ago as well.? I still occasionally find the need for a floppy on an older machine, but that's probably a sign I'm wasting my time!

Unlike previous versions of Windows upgrade versions, Vista will require an OS to already be installed on the hard drive.? You can pretty much kiss your clean install goodbye unless you spring for the full version.? I don't know which angle they are going for, either anti-piracy or ...

Here's how to install Flash 9 on your Ubuntu Linux installation:
wget http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz

tar -xzf install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz
