How to sync Outlook 2003/2007 with Google Calendar

May 23, 2007 – 10:37 am

Google Calendar has some nice features like SMS’ing you for the reminders, but having to navigate to their site to enter the data can be a pain.  Since I already use Outlook, I wanted an easy way to sync the two Calendars.  I ran across this site which outlined it nicely.

The only thing I would add is that if you use Outlook 2007, download and run this instead of this step:

  • In the Prerequisites folder of your RemoteCalendar install, unpack the O2003PIA.EXE files and install O2003PIA.MSI.

Enjoy!

  2. you may also want to check out calgoo, http://www.calgoo.com - ive been using calgoo for a few months now, ever since they went beta, and it has been a solid calendaring solution for me.

after doing some digging through their forum it appears they will have a new release soon - although they seem to be tight lipped on the features.
